Before You Submit

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should make sure that:

• The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
• The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
• The research falls within the scope of the International Journal of Educational Advancement.
• The study follows appropriate academic and ethical standards.
• The manuscript has been checked for language, formatting, and references.
• All required information and supporting documents are included.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal invites various forms of scholarly submissions, such as:

• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
• Case Studies
• Conceptual Papers
• Short Communications
• Book Reviews
• Educational Practice and Innovation Papers

All papers should make an academic contribution and be relevant in the field of education.

Manuscript Preparation

The author(s) should organize and type the manuscript clearly. A research paper can have any of the following sections, depending on the kind of submission.

1. Title – A clear and concise title that reflects the research.
2. Author Information – Names, affiliations, and contact details of all authors.
3. Abstract – A brief overview of the research, methodology, key findings, and conclusion.
4. Keywords – Important terms related to the research topic.
5. Introduction – Background, research problem, objectives, and significance.
6. Literature Review – Relevant previous research and theoretical background.
7. Methodology – Research design, data sources, participants, and methods of analysis.
8. Results – Clear presentation of the research findings.
9. Discussion – Interpretation of findings and comparison with previous research.
10. Conclusion – Main findings, conclusions, and relevant implications.
11. References – Complete details of all sources cited in the manuscript.

It varies according to the subject and nature of the manuscript.

Originality and Plagiarism

All articles submitted to the journal should be original articles of the authors. All ideas, statements, data, and other materials borrowed from other sources should be cited and acknowledged.

Plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, manipulated findings or other academic dishonesty will not be condoned or accepted by the journal. There is editorial screening for plagiarism during the editorial process.

Authorship

The names of those who have contributed significantly to the research or manuscript preparation should be given credit as author(s). The final version should be reviewed and approved by all the listed authors.

A change of authorship after the paper has been submitted must be reported to the editorial office and may be approved by all authors.

Figures and Tables

All figures, charts and tables must be numbered and referred to in the text. They should be of value and helpful to the understanding of the research.

Permission to use material copied from other sources should be obtained by the authors.

References and Citations

It is the responsibility of the author(s) to make sure that the references cited in the text are present in the reference list and that the information for each reference is correct.

References must be carefully checked and in the form required by the Journal. Relevant, reliable and current academic sources are recommended for authors to use.

Ethical Requirements

Authors should act responsibly in conducting research and in publishing their work. Authors should include relevant details of the ethical approval and informed consent of human subjects, if applicable, in their research.

Authors must also report possible conflicts of interest and research funding or financial support, if applicable.

Conflict of Interest and Funding

The authors are required to disclose any financial or professional or personal relationship that could be interpreted as a bias in the presentation or evaluation of information.

Any financial support received for conducting the research should also be mentioned in the manuscript. When there is no specific mention of funding for the research, this should be indicated.

Peer Review

Manuscripts submitted are initially screened by the editor. If a manuscript is acceptable and within the scope of the journal, it will go forward to the double-blind peer review process.

Manuscripts are assessed by reviewers for originality, academic merit, research methodology, clarity, relevance and contribution to educational research.

Manuscripts can be returned to the authors for revision in response to the reviewers' comments, prior to final decision.

Submission Process

Authors are to submit manuscripts to the journal through the journal's online submission system with the necessary information and documents.

Prior to submission, authors are encouraged to carefully review the following:

• Manuscript formatting
• Author names and affiliations
• Abstract and keywords
• Figures and tables
• References and citations
• Ethical declarations
• Conflict of interest statement
• Funding information, where applicable
• Supplementary files, where required

After Submission

The Editorial staff edit the manuscripts to determine if they are within the scope and basic requirements of the journal. The author will be informed by the information provided during submission of authors the update and editorial decision.

Authors must consider the comments of the reviewers critically and submit the revised manuscript within the time limit, if revisions are called for.
