Our Standards
International Journal of Educational Advancement (IJEA) strives to ensure that all articles published in the journal are of the highest academic standard and research integrity, and adhere to a double-blind peer review system with a fair, transparent and rigorous process.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are reviewed for originality, scientific value, relevance, method and contribution to the field of education.
Through our review process we strive for high quality and ethical research, and offer constructive comments for authors to improve their research.

Step 1
Manuscript Submission
The manuscript should be submitted electronically to the journal via the journal's online submission system. All submissions should be according to the author guidelines of the Journal and should contain the necessary documents.

Step 2
Initial Editorial Assessment
The editorial office carries out a preliminary evaluation to see if the manuscript:
- Falls within the journal's scope.
- Meets formatting and submission requirements.
- Demonstrates originality and academic relevance.
- Complies with publication ethics and editorial policies.
If a manuscript fails to meet these basic standards, it may be returned to the author(s) for revisions or rejected without consideration of peer review.

Step 3
Double-Blind Peer Review
Any manuscripts submitted are eligible for publication, and are double blind reviewed by independent experts in the field.
The manuscript is evaluated by reviewers on the following:
- Originality and significance of the research.
- Clarity of objectives and research questions.
- Quality of research methodology.
- Accuracy of data analysis and interpretation.
- Relevance of references and literature review.
- Overall presentation and academic writing.
- Contribution to educational research and practice.

Step 4
Reviewer Recommendations
Once the evaluation is finished, reviewers make detailed comments and one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revisions.
- Accept with minor revisions.
- Major revisions required.
- Reject the manuscript.
The editorial staff conscientiously takes into account the comments of all reviewers in the decision-making process.

Step 5
Author Revisions
If revisions are called for, authors should respond to each comment of the reviewers and present a revised version of the manuscript within the given term. If the reviewers deem it necessary, revised manuscripts can be returned to them for further consideration.

Step 6
Final Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board decides on the final publication after reading the revised manuscript and the reviewers' comments. Authors are notified of the decision and any other comments and publication needs.

Step 7
Copyediting and Publication
All manuscripts accepted are professionally copy-edited, proofread, formatted, and quality checked. All published articles have a DOI and articles are posted on the journal's open internet website.
