Article Processing Charges

The International Journal of Educational Advancement (IJEA) has a clear policy regarding Article Processing Charges (APC). The Article Processing Charge (APC) is used to cover the administrative and publishing activities involved in the review, preparation, publication and maintenance of accepted articles, if applicable.

When Is the Charge Applicable?

APCs will be charged only after the manuscript has passed through editorial and peer review and accepted for publication.

There is no requirement to pay to submit or for peer review. No fee is required from authors to submit or consider their manuscript for review without paying an APC.

What Does the APC Cover?

The applicable publication charge will cover services like:

  • Editorial and administrative processing
  • Peer review management
  • Manuscript formatting and proofreading
  • DOI registration and article metadata
  • Online publication and hosting
  • Long-term access to the published article

No Guarantee of Acceptance

APC will not affect the editorial decision. The quality, originality, relevance and adherence to the publication standards of the journal are used to evaluate manuscripts.

Waivers and Discounts

Authors who may not be able to meet applicable publication charge may contact the editorial office to inquire about waivers or discounts. Requests will be considered based on the policy and circumstances of the journal in question.
